Wroughton Bowls Club celebrates ten year association with car dealer Pebley Beach

Players at a Wiltshire bowls club are celebrating a ten year association with motor dealer Pebley Beach.

 
The Swindon Hyundai and Suzuki franchise holder has been sponsoring Wroughton Bowls Club since 2007. And last Saturday � at the start of the bowls season � MD Dominic Threlfall was invited to bowl the first wood with club president Diane Gibbs.

 
Founded in 1982

Dominic reminded players that the club was founded in 1982 � the same year that his family opened their first car dealership � a Lancia franchise � in Wroughton.

 

 
Pebley Beach has since moved to a larger showroom in Swindon, but the association remains as strong as ever.
 

Not only does the firm�s sponsorship help upkeep the immaculate six rink bowling green, but the 100-plus members of the bowls club receive discounts on MoTs and repairs.

 
�Many of the members of Wroughton bowls club are very loyal customers of ours, and we�re proud to be associated with the club for a tenth year,� said Dom.

 
Pebley Beach also sponsors the bowls clubs in Cricklade, and in Cirencester where the firm has a Suzuki showroom.

 
Wroughton Bowls Club fields seven teams in the Swindon & District and Wiltshire leagues, and game are played most days and evenings throughout the summer months.
